Day at the Park
Sunday was about 70 degrees. My mom was in town all last week because she was on Spring Break. My dad came down on Friday to see us and my sister. St Louis is a lot closer than LA. We went to this amazing park yesterday and captured the day.
ZOO with Aunt Jessica
My sister came into town from LA on Thursday night and is leaving tonight. It has been such a fun visit. We have had great food, awesome conversation, and just a lot of fun. Jess and I took the kids to the zoo today. It was crazy. I guess with Spring Break and it is about 75 degrees!
Francine and her hats
I went through Francine's basket of hats the other day and she helped decide which ones still fit and which ones we needed to put away. Bob's mom made the off white one that she is wearing.

Feeling better
Walt has been super sick since early (early) Wednesday morning. We found out yesterday that he had an ear infection in both ears and a virus. Today he was finally feeling a little better. So we took advantage and got out of the house for a few hours. We went to the park and then had a quick lunch at Seamus McDaniels in Dogtown. Walt did one of his "poses" for the camera. I love this shot of my 2 boys!

Trip to Des Moines
Bristol School had conferences last week so we had to work late 2 nights because of that we are given Friday off. So I packed up the car Wednesday night, picked up the kids at 3pm on Thursday after school and the 3 of us headed north to Des MOines. The kids were amazing in the car. I was very lucky. It took us about 6.5 hours each way, which is pretty normal. Bob and I could sometimes make it in 6 hours, but I think that was before kids. :) We had a great time in Des Moines. We went to the amazing Urbandale Library, a Drake woman's basketball game (walt asked where the boys were), Monkey Joes, a Pancake Breakfast, the mall, and out to dinner. It was such a great time.

Francine and Bruno
Francine really got up close and personal with Bruno at Diane and Wally's this weekend. She is sleeping through the night (11 hours) and totally on the move. She is crawling everywhere and starting to pull up onto things. UH-OH! :)
