Walt loves him some FranFran

Magic House Sunday

Walt is very lucky to have such a cool great-grandma.  She got walt (and the family) a membership at the Magic House which is the St Louis Children's Museum.  Today we went and walt once again loved being there and loved exploring the museum.

Fort-Tent

Ok so we actually did take 2 pictures while walt was sick, I made a tent for us to read books in.  It was pretty fun.

November updates

Sorry all of you "loyal" blog readers (Granny and Poppie), we have been a little crazy around here.  Walt came down with a horrible sinus infection.  So last weekend there were no pictures taken, he is finally feeling back to his normal self. He did miss 3 days of school because his fever would not stay away.  Francine luckily did not catch anything.  I guess we should have been taking pictures of her, but alas we were balancing a sick pre-schooler and a 4 month old.

Francine is doing amazing. She can roll from her tummy to her back and from her back to her tummy.  She loves playing with toys and has just started to put them to her mouth ( oh, it begins, I feel like walt just stopped doing that!)

We are headed to the Ginthers for Thanksgiving.  It is also Victoria's birthday on Thanksgiving, so walt can't wait.

Francine's Baptism

Francine was baptized this weekend at St. Margaret's of Scotland.  My parents came into with my brother Dan and his daughter Victoria.  Cari and Raym are her Godparents and they came down from Chicago with their 2 year old daughter Penelope.  It was such a wonderful weekend.  Honestly we all loved every moment.

will our kids be friends?

We have such amazing friends in our lives, and I guess that I wonder sometimes if our kids will grow up to be friends (maybe on the next generation Facebook)?

Cari was in town with 2 year old Penelope, we took some pictures of future friends....
Victoria joined in the fun as well.

Monthly Storytime

So last year we discovered this story (songs and arts and crafts) time at New City School.  It is at a private school in the city of St Louis that is based on the theories of Howard Gardner.  It is held in their library and their library is amazing!!! The most amazing library that I have ever seen.  So we start the 1 1/2 in the storytime circle nook.  So we took Victoria, my mom, Cari, and Penelope with us this saturday.  So.... I had to blog this so I don't forget this story.  The woman who runs story time Heidi, was going to sing "Old King Kole" She reminded the kids that he needs his pipe, bowl and fiddlers 3, walt then yells out "pipes?  Like what my pee goes into under the house?"  She says no, my mom and I are laughing so hard we are crying, and then Heidi sings the song and walt says after the song, "you mean like pipes when i poop into that go under our house"  At this point I was so embarressed and just laughing so hard I just said "He is really into plumbing"  It was so cute and funny

Francine Bath Time

Bath Pictures are so fun.  She never cries when she is in the bath, but starts to shiver pretty quickly.  So we are quick in and out.

Cousin Love!

So  Victoria was in town.  Victoria and Walt are just becoming better and better friends.  They are very cute together.  It is so fun to watch.  I was pretty close to my cousin Brian, so it makes me happy that Walt has a cousin close in age.

Happy 2010 Halloween

This was the best picture of the 3 of us. (bob took a bunch).  Walt loved going door to door and made it to a lot more houses than last year.  We are actually raiding his candy as I type this.  It is nice that he is still too young to know that we are stealing half of his candy!
