Walt may have a new profession

Since we seem to take a lot of photos, walt is always pretty interested in the camera.  Tonight I wanted to take a picture of how strong Francine's head is, and so walt stepped up and took the pictures for the blog.  Not bad....

The Family

Walt's school would like a picture of the family.  We have a lot of walt and us, but not any (except the hospital pic) of the "new" wichard family.  Diane was nice enough to snap a picture of us, and it turned out pretty good. 

Nanny made some hats

Diane is very crafty, she has been on a hat making kick!  They are very cute, and I think that Francine liked it.  Francine has been such a great girl this week.  She has been smiling a lot and starting to vocalize.

I got your attention didn't I??  So walt and bob played hockey tonight and Walt tried to fight a bush?!?!  We just put Francine's activity mat together so she enjoyed some playtime tonight.  AND... yesterday the oh so smart sara burned herself on a pan.  Check out that blister!!!!

She isn't always sleeping, but when she is, it's pretty cute.....

In Milwaukee

Today we visited Walt and Francine's Aunt, Uncle, and cousin in Milwaukee.  It was pretty nuts with all of the kids running around, and we're currently in the middle of some downtime.  Both Walt and Francine are napping very well in preparation for returning this evening.  Here are some pictures of Walt and Baxter terrorizing things....

Botanical Gardens

Today after we dropped walt off at school.  Francine and I headed to the Botanical Gardens.  The first motivation for going was to see the city*arch*river competition boards.  Troy's firm in LA is one of the final 5 firms for the competition to revitivze the arch and the grounds around it including the land on the Illinois side.  I was so proud of Troy and all of his hard work.  As you can see Francine was WAY excited to be there as well.  Then we took about a 40 minute walk around the gardens.  It is a gorgeous day today!  Low 80s no humidity!  Amazing.

First time at Nordstroms

Most mom's note their child's first tooth, first step, and I do think that those are great milestones, but it was pretty great to go shopping for the first time with my daughter.  I also had one of my best friends with me as well.  Thanks Amanda for coming to town, it was great.

We had the Srubas family in town for the weekend, Claire is 2 1/2 and the Moyich Family came over for dinner. It was a weekend of Friends, a lot of fun was had by kids and adults alike.

Saturday night we went to Benton Park for an outdoor concert. Francince slept through most of it!

Penelope is Here!

Cari and Penelope drove in from Chicago yesterday and are staying through tomorrow.  Today the heat index is suppose to reach close to 110, so we went to the fountains at City Garden this morning for an hour and will probably spend the rest of the day inside!  Francine slept through all of the fun.

Mom and Dad night out

I know that this blog is called Walter and Francine, there is no mention of Bob and Sara.  But last night bob and I went out to celebrate 7 years (and one month) of Marital Bliss.  We had a wonderful time, and I am sure that most of you will not be surprised that we take a picture every anniversary and I have a book to put the pictures in.  So here is our picture for 2010.  A good one.

Happy 4 weeks Francine!

Francine is just an amazing little girl.  She sleeps a lot at night, she only cries when she needs something, and is just so wonderful to cuddle (bob loves to cuddle!)

Summer Playgroup

This is the 3rd year of Bristol Summer Playgroup!  Here are some pictures from our last playgroup of the year.  Francine is on the left in the picture with 2 babies.  My friend Tim's wife had Charlotte one week after Francine was born.

Ge-Ma has been visiting

My mom has been here for 2 weeks and we all have loved it.  I have been able to shower each day and the house is very clean!  Yea for Grandmas!
