Meet the Machines 2011

Every year one of the construction companies in St Louis hosts a kids day at their property.  Walt has gone 3 years now, he loved it. Here are some pictures from this years event.

The Pool Opened this Weekend!

So walt has always loved that we have a "pool" in our backyard.  Well we filled up our pool from last year and it deflated.  So bob was a superdad and ran to Target and got the kids a new zebra pool.  The water was a little cold, so Francine didn't play in the pool a lot.  Walt on the other hand loved it!  We are going to have a lot of fun pool days this summer.

Wedding Video

We didn't get to stay for a lot of the dancing, but walt loved the Dj's stage.  In this video he is trying to show me how Nanny taught him to put his hands in his pockets!

Matt and Erica's Wedding

We attended Bob's cousin Matt's Wedding this weekend!  It was a lot of fun.  The kids were both a hit.  We went and had some appetizers between the wedding and the reception and I love how Nanny can multi-task!  Amazing stuff!

BYE BYE Tonsils!

This Wednesday is the big day when WAlt gets his tonsils and adenoids removed.  This weekend he came down with Strep Throat....  Ugh.  This is not the best picture but you can see why he doesn't sleep well at night.

PASTA!

Turns out Francine loves Pasta!  This will be her dinner on bath nights only!

Singing in the "voice"

So walt is getting his tonsils and adenoids out on the 18th, and the doctor said that his voice might change so we wanted to get a couple videos of this.  Walt and Sara sing every night before bed, here is walt leading the sing-a-long.

Mother's Day 2011

Today is an amazing day outside!  So we took advantage.  We went to our usual mother's day breakfast spot- Square One, and then took the bike, trailer, and stroller to Tower Grove Park where we took in about an hour of exercise.  It was awesome.  Then the kids got to play in the water, they had turned on the fountains.  Francine was not too sure of them, but Walt did not forget how to get completely soaked!

Today Francine is 10 months old, she went to the Dr on Thursday and she is 18lbs 12oz, and 28 5/8" long.  The Doctor said that she looks great!  Yea!

Bristol Day at the Ballpark 2011

Each year my choir sings the "National Anthem" at a Cardinals Game, this year it was yesterday (May 7), it was a glorious day and the kids did great.  We were actually on TV, and so I got to see myself in HD!  I was a little nervous about that!

This was Francine's first baseball game and Walt's first of the year.  They both did great.  Walt discovered the joy of dipping dots...
